The HamSphere North American Rag Chew Net met on Friday the 16 Sep 2022 on Frequency 434.5000 Mhz at 01:00 UTC with 12 HS Operators checked in.
NET/NARC TIM (VA7FT - BC) NET CONTROL M7SBC ANDREW (GB) NET LOGGER VE3OHS WAYNE (ON) KD9TQH BOB (IN) M6INJ PETE (GB) K3VIC VIC (CA) KS1K DAVE (FL) 2HS6874 ROB (PA) VE3CMT COLIN (ON) 2HS2265 JOE (MN) VK5NWD LEW (SA) 2HS1980 SUNIL (CA) Twelve operators checked in, the following question was posed to the group: Follow up to Colin's (VE3CMT) question about beacons and if you use them. I am asking you to think outside the box. Why are beacons on HamSphere? They must have had a purpose when they where placed. Let's see if we can brainstorm what that might have been? Any ideas? I think I may have thought of one, testing, but testing of what? Interesting thoughts, ideas and discussion given by all. Thanks to all who participated. The next session of this net will be on Wednesday September the 21st at 01:00 UTC on freq 434.500 for Check In round followed by the Round Table or Discussion portion. Net Control will be NET/NARC Wayne (VE3OHS) and Rik (2HS1189) as Net Logger, do join them. A North American Rag Chew Net Forum has been added to the Forum pages on HamSphere for all to read.
