Latest news:

The 53rd Jamboree On The Air will is taking place on 16 and 17 October 2010.
The JOTA is an annual event in which Scouts and Guides all over the world speak to each other by means of Amateur radio contacts.
Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared, via the Ham Bands.
HamSphere JOTA frequencies: 7.090 DSB, 7.030 CW, 14.290 MHz DSB, 18.140 MHz DSB, 21.360 MHz DSB, 50.160 MHz DSB

Malaysia with the ISO2 code "MY" has been added as a HamSphere DX-Country.
Users from Malaysia will have free access to the system as of now.

As from 6 October 2010 the HamSphere 30 meter band will be a digital band only. All digital modes are allowed on 30 meters.
PSK31 : Works well.
SSTV: Works, but vulnerable to any small lagging or dropout in the transmissions
RTTY: Works very well
Digital SSTV: Does not work well due to the Audio compression used in HamSphere.
