Happy New Year everyone!

HamSphere celebrates its two year anniversary and at the time of writing, HamSphere has over 21000 valid callsigns from over 190 countries.

New rules apply on HamSphere. As from 20 January 2010 all new unlicensed users have to pass an exam to get access to HamSphere.
Licensed HamRadio operators are as usual verified with Hamcall.net and QRZ.com or with sent in license copies.

Important! If you signed up to HamSphere as an unlicensed user before 20 January 2010 you do not have to take the exam.

Other news:

HamSphere is fully open on the 40 meter band for Demo users with both transmit and receive capabilities.
Demo users can also listen to 9 Ham bands.

The HamSphere 500 contest was a success and a winner will soon be announced on the website.

Jerry N1TKO has compiled a magnificient Users manual including full explanations in text and video.

And the last and most important news:
The latest and stable release is 2.0.19 and it will be valid from now on. No more awkward and time consuming updates around the corner!
