Problems with 4.0

Hello all , and thanks for this forum.
I became a subscriber a week ago , since then I downloaded 4.0 , from 3.0 . I have NOT been able to receive now send one iota !! 3.0 works great , when I switch to 4.0 I get nothing , nada , nix , niets ,rein ??? what am I doing wrong , PLEASE HELP ! Thanks and 73's Ron.
