System probems

| Hamsphere runs for several minutes and quits. Have seen the same problem in HS 2.0 and latest HS 3.0. Tuner quits and audio alarms with system errors. What could be causing this problem? ( Win XP) A Reload of HS or in HS 2.O logout and in starts the whole cycle again. HS only operates for a few minutes. | |

Hi. We have seen this problem when using WIFI networks with fluctuating signals.
HamSphere is somewhat sensitive to unstable WiFi connections. 3.0 should handle this issue a little better than 2.0 So make sure you are on a strong and stable WiFi connection. Moving closer to the AP (Access Point) is usually a good idea. If you are on a fixed connection the problem is most definately massive packet loss at your ISP or somewhere along the line to the servers. This could be caused by either faulty or overloaded routers (I.E using Internet at peak times in an area with under dimensioned Internet connections) In 3.0 you can select between different servers. We have a server in Texas, London and Stockholm. Try to toggle between them and compare results. 73 Kelly 5B4AIT |

I am a new full member of Hamspere and origionally every thing was OK. However I now find I can log in OK but cannot change bands. The Hamsphere receiver is locked on to the 10mts. band.
I have tried to find the answer to the problem but without result, nor am I able to make contact with Hamsphere other than this site. Help please. G4GLH |

All servers are operational. New server version 16 was installed today. It has been tested and debugged for over a week. Seems very stable.

| When I sellect cluster/log it is empty so I cannot send QSL cards or log any contacts that I may make. I only encountered this problem today after having to delete and reinstall hamsphere after being unable to open the program. | |

| Program has been downloaded 4 times but when i try to open and run it a message appears stating corrupt files i closed the fire wall down so there would be no barriers but the same message pops up (corrupt files) . | |
