Just ot a pin code. BUT I dont have a mike because I am a CW using ham. Where can I plug in my paddles? Do I have to TYPE CW? Rediculous.

Furthermore a lot of annoying advertisements and repeatedly a window telling me to download and install, while I am logged in.

Manual says left under in the trx fill out your callsign and pin, but that is impossible, the trx is to small to reaad the knobs, nothing works.

So please everybody can use my call g3ldb and my pin 4271 GD luck and remember when you work G3LDB Its NOT ME.

Jim,

You have found the Hamsphere page Sir, and you have logged in as just a user of the website.

You still need to download and install the actual Hamsphere software!!

Then, after installing, you will get a full size "radio" on your screen.

The radio you maybe trying to enter details with, is the one above me, on this page.

This is just a screenshot of the radio, and nothing will work on it (buttons etc)

On the large radio, when you install and run, the boxes are big enough for info, and all the buttons work!!

So, please bear with it, and download the Hamsphere to your computer.

Do not select Run, but choose to SAVE, and put it (save it) in a folder where you can find it again. For example, in your picture/photo files. You can always move it/copy it elswhere later on.

Don't go just yet!! Give it a go. You've registered as a user, cos you found the site. Trust me, as a past subscriber, I can tell you it's quite good fun. Ok, theres no mast and beams, and there no-where to plug in yer paddles (cw typed then hit send - its then SENT in cw across the "waves")

As for mike, you can use a normal computer plug in, or your webcam one. (instructions on how to set up mikes are available AFTER you download and fire up the system.

Again, please hang around a bit longer - don't give up just yet.

Kindest regards.

David
