Greetings, report that when I press the F9 keyboard shortcut to open the audio mixer of my operating system "Windows Vista" program gives me the following error message:
"Windows can not find the file called sndvol32. Make sure the name is spelled correctly and try again." Thank you very much everybody, a greeting Sergio 30HS142 |

Hello Sergio!
You get this error just because in Windows Vista (and likely also in Windows 7, I do not remeber in older Windows version, tomorrow I will check on my XP at work) the audio mixer is not called sndvol32.exe anymore. A quick fix is: open file explorer in your c:\window\system32 path, find the file sndvol.exe, then you can made a copy and paste creating a new file, or else you can copy and paste as a shortcut, anyway call sndvol32.exe the new resulting file and you're ok. Or, if you want, I can send you the shortcut file to copy in your c:\window\system32 path By the way, you must have admin privileges to do that... 73 + 51 -- 1HS104 Stefano - IZ3XNJ HamSphere Admin HamSphere Italia Frequenza Monitor 21.380 |
