| What is the best way of using the PTT switch on my microphone to operate the Hamsphere transceiver? At the moment I am using the right click switch on a second mouse, redefined as F1, wired to my microphone PTT switch. | |

I don't know if its the best way, but here's how I do it.... When HS first starts, go over and click on the PTT button once. This will turn the green light on. Then, every time you want to transmit, just click the PTT button. Jerry - N1TKO |

Maybe this is something that could be developed by one of our techie compatriots..
What would be involved in replacing the content of a handheld or desktop mic with USB mic parts and also wiring the PTT to activate in the same way as the mouse button to activate F1? |
