I've got Hamsphere to load and the chat screen asks me to complete the devices listing - I've changed the soundcard for play back but don't have a record device (reading the notes I don't seem to need to set this up). I have completed the callsign and PIN boxes and clicked on the login button but nothing happens. I have disabled my firewall. Help please as my "free" days use is fast running ou!.

Thanks for the prompt response, Jerry. I had Java Version 6 Update 18 installed which seems to be the most recent.

No but I have just run Hamsphere on an Acer Aspire One (Linpus Linux) netbook. Loaded immediately and works without any adjustment - great. It must be the security settings (I'm using Kaspersky) on my PC causing the problem so I'll use the netbook.

| a little help here... logging in.. device set to play back. set up on laptop. i don't have a recording device. i do have java recent update. i am obviously doing something wrong | |

Check out THIS page and let me know if it helps you out. Also, first thing.... make sure you have a mic plugged in or some type of built in mic on the laptop. If you have neither, that could be why you are getting that message. Let me know how you do. Jerry - N1TKO |

PIN # & PASSWORD are the same thing................
Log onto RADIO your Callsign and the SAME PIN# / Password you used to log on to the HAMSPHERE FORUM to create this message..............When you registered. If you want another PIN # / PAssword there is a menu selectioncalled "FORGOT PASSWRD" enter Email address and a new one will be sent to you into EMAIL program ............. Vic Ve3JAR |
