The program has released me the following error:

Server was stopped for maintenance. You may check back later!
Debug:TCPConnection_sendBuf: Socket closed

What that is? and How can I fix it?
My PC has Windows Vista S.O

A greeting and thanks for everything.

Hello Sergio
Every so often, Kelly shuts down the servers. On most occasions he will give all users a 2 minute warning letting you know that the server is going to be shut down. Thus you'll see, "Server was stopped for maintenance. You may check back later!"
The server only shuts down for a very short period of time.... like a minute or two. Like Jeremy said, just log back on and all should be fine.

Hello Sergio.

In this case it wasn't me. I did not stop the server.
I suggest the following (As decribed in the README)

Download PingPlotter its a free program to check your internet connection with the world.
Start it and trace the HamSphere server "hamsphere.com"

Check the packet loss rate as well as ping times.
The pingtimes should be < 400 ms and the packet error less that 50%

You can look for a bottleneck in your connection as every router (hop) is shown in the trace.

Regards
Kelly

Thanks for your prompt response. Indeed, once closed the program and started again, the error disappears and I can go on perfectly. Now I understand why that message. I guess that Kelly made this operation to avoid saturation of the primary server, I understand that action.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Kelly, is an honor to speak with you, thanks to his work and that of all the people next to you helps to keep all this, I can again enjoy the radio after 11 years without using it.

I followed his advice by installing the program you recommended me to check my connection, the result is as follows:

pointed domain: www.hamsphere.com
The pingtimes 183
30% packet error

I find that the error is due to my network I have noticed that there are moments in the day that the aforementioned values increase, leading to the error, Could I have some advice to improve this? Should I open some ports on my router?.

A greeting and thank you very much
