[Ask] Set up new purchased antenna

Need your help to activate new antenna...
I purchased 5-element Yagi (17m), rotator and antenna selector by today. I'm done with editor to make rotator and selector visible, The issue is when I tried to change my default IDC to 5-element Yagi (17m),the light is red still ON..assume the Yagi not active yet. Currently, I able to use IDC antenna only not the Yagi Please help guys, regards Ronni 115HS292 on HamSphere 4 |

Hi Ronni,
if you see the different antennas in the selector, they are working. You can activate an antenna by double-click (not only one click). That meight be the reason. And of course a 17m Yagi only on the 17 meters band, that's for sure. Otherwise try to restart your HamSphere program. Can I send back the Yagi to HS store and replace to multiband antenna.I will pay for any additional cost for replacing. regards 115HS292/ronni '73 |

You can put it into the second-hand shop and after (re)selling you get this money for your account.
You can buy (maybe also from second hand) e.g. a Cardioid or multi-band or whatever you want.
