A few seconds of start it do not work

Hi,
When I initialized Hampshere in few seconds do not work properly. The controls stop and I hear a continuous beep. I made some test: Laptop 1: Ubuntu 9.10, JRE 1.6.0_15, works well Laptop 2: Ubuntu 9.10, JRE 1.6.0_18, continuos beep and dead PC: Windows XP SP3, JRE 1.6.0_18, continuos beep and dead Could it be problem of the version of Java? Hi Carlos.
Java is one thing. It is important to use the latest version of Java. Especially since Java has had som problems with audio drivers in the past. It sounds also like you could try to change the audio input/output device with the chat commands /play and /record Look in the README file for more info. You could start asking the system with the command /devices and you will get a list of available input and output devices that you can play around with. Regards Kelly 5B4AIT |
