Hello
I seem to have a problem Hamsphere.
When I try to log into it, I enter my callsign and my pin and click the login lit locks up. Cannot shut it down or do anything with it.
In order to get rid of the locked program . I have to task manager and get rid of the java app running and it goes away

Here what it says on the chat windows says

**This show up after log in and it locks up

Here is a FAQ on the problem.

I am currently fixing this error handling in the HamSphere program so that it will be easier to setup.

Please read the FAQ there.

In the new release that will be out soon there is a better error handling.
In your case it is most likely the audio input device that is missing. HamSphere relies on both an input and output device.

UPDATE from Ken:

Okay this on a laptop and when I plugged the mike in it let me log in and it working
Sorry should of tried that first
The other versions worked without a mike hooked up
Sorry again
Thanks

Hello Anthony
Any PC microphone will work. Same with the head phones..... There are a lot of different mics out there. You don't have get an expensive one. The "chep" models seem to work pretty good.
