Hi Kelly, I have installed connect version 2.0.18 and I saved the last position on screen. The program still appears in the top left of my screen. The volume is always too full.
For more information on Hamsphere am running windows vista 64 bit edition. And the current version of Java is the latest. A greeting and thank you very much for the wonderful work. |

Hi.
Questions. 1. Did you start the application, move it somewhere on the screen and then exit with "power off"? Then restart and it still was launched in the upper left? 2. Is your callsign, password and other settings intact and updated if you chnage them? Ie, change your callsign to something else, exit the app and go back again. Does it remember the changes? 73 Kelly |

Ok Kelly, the result has been that it has only been solved in the volume of the application. Now does not store the callsign and the pass as they did before, whenever I enter hamsphere home.
The position is coming in the top left of the screen thx |

OK Kelly SOLVED
The problem was windows vista. Specifically write attributes for users in the file hs20.cfg. We must change the attributes written in the users tab. once done this, everything works great. Hamsphere Another possibility is to run as administrator, there will be no problem. But if you want to run as normal user, you have to change permissions. A greeting |

Great news.
This is a very good FAQ entry. I will work with Jerry to fix a new and properly formatted FAQ. thanks Kelly 30HS142 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > OK Kelly SOLVED > > The problem was windows vista. I'd really like to get this particular issue explained in the FAQ section.
I cannot get my Xcvr to remember my settings.... The posts above seem to confuse the issue more. I'm using Windows 7 I removed the hs20.cfg file from my Hamsphere folder. Then, logged on set all new freqs in my memory. I shut down and restarted Hamsphere and nothing was saved.... even my call and password were not saved. Kelly, (or anyone) can you give me a brief explanation on how to properly set this and then I can post it along with a "how to" video. Also, are there different procedures with different Operating Systems? Thank you Jerry |
