Hi All,
I am new here as of today, but as of 4 days ago I have been a ham for 34 years. I love ham radio, but I live in an apartment so I can't set up a real station. I am so happy to find a way to set up a virtual station. I can enjoy ham radio again. I hope to meet many of you around the "bands". As an op my favorite bands were 40m and 20m (in and around solar max), and 80m for evening rag chews.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Hi Dave,

i feel with you and this problem was exactly the same "main-reason" for me in Germany to stop this hobby many years ago.
Simply it's impossible to build antennas on the roof if you don't have an own house or garden. :(

So at last i used a ham-transceiver only in my car, That's not enough for good ham operating. And HamSphere is a pretty good alternative to simulate it, hope you will enjoy it!
In the near future we'll get a new system with a better kind of simulation, e.g. sunspots, ionosphere-simulation, div. antennas/amplifiers and much more like that.

Hope to meet you on the frequencies next time.:) A very warm welcome on board.

All the best from Germany to N.Y. and 73
