I just downloaded the software yesterday and after sorting out a bad desk mic and buying a new Logitech headset, I made 4 QSO's this morning. I normally use a Kenwood TS680 all mode transceiver with a Delta Loop antenna for DXing. I belong to the Suwannee County Amateur Radio Club in Live Oak Florida and use the club's 2 meter repeaters frequently. I will be getting a 50 foot tower up soon out here in the boonies where we live, with a beam for 10 meters and a vertical for 6 meters plus a OTA antenna for TV..

I am retired, 79 years old, married 35 years and have been in Florida from Indiana since 1979. I love to live where the weather suits my clothes. We long distance travel in our red New Beetle convertible and am looking forward to being able to "ham-it-up" while on the road now that I have Hamsphere on both desktop and laptop computers. Beats motel TV for sure.

I haven't decided which frequency to "hang out" on, so for now I will be spinning the dial.

Ain't technology great!!!!

Charly
