The HamSphere North American Rag Chew Net, met on Wednesday September 21st, 2022, on 70CM (434.5) at 01:00 UTC with 16 HamSphere Operators checked in:
NET/NARC – WAYNE (ON) (VE3OHS) NET CONTROL 2HS1189 – RIK (IN) NET LOGGER M6INJ – PETE (GB) ASSIST NET CONT FORUM COORD G0JDK – ALAN (GB) LISTEN MODE VA7FT – TIM (BC) FRIDAY SESSION NET CONTROL M7SBC – ANDREW (GB) ASSIST NET LOGGER W7CPT - JIM (WA) ASSIST NET CONTROL LISTEN ONLY K3VIC – VIC (CA) VE3CMT – COLIN (ON) 2HS2265 – JOE (MN) 2HS6874 – ROB (PA) N2JOA – JOHN (NY) VK5NWD – LEW (SA) KS1K – DAVE (FL) KD0ZDU – DON (CO) LISTEN MODE VE3HO – GARTH (ON) Sixteen Hamsphere Operators checked in makes for a very busy net. Discussion for tonight’s net: Andrew M7SBC asked: So, the question for the group is about operators who do not listen, there was some RM's that were on over this past weekend. Happy Birthday to Alan G0JDK our constant listener and we hope your day was a good one. I was operating 235RM1, it seems that no matter who operates the RM some Operators cannot listen or know how carry out basic operation. You give callsigns of who you can hear and still get others trying to shout over with bad audio ect. So how would you as an armature operator deal with these sorts of people, and yes some of us do block out after a time as it shows total rudeness on their part. Also a Random Draw for a 1 hour Rental Remoted was done and the winner is VK5NWD Lew, more info as to date and time to be determined. A North American Rag Chew Net Forum has been added to the Forum pages on HamSphere for all to read. The next session of this net will be on Friday September 23rd, 2022, at 01:00 UTC on 70CM at 434.500 for the Round Table and/or Discussion. Net Control will be NET/NARC Pete M6INJ, and 2HS1189, as Net Logger, do join them. For comments or questions please email: ve3ohs@gmail.com de VE3OHS Net Manager Go Forth and Work Split. |
