Hi All.
Just thought i would let people know that i would recommend this plantronics headset. Its hd sound and lovely response through the earphones. Its usb plug n play so easy to install. Ok its more expensive that others but worth every penny and i have had comments like "you sound like you in my room its that clear"..i hope this is true hi. Volume one remote switch in line with headphone wire, also mic mute and answer button for skype etc. Just my 2 cents worth. Heres the link. http://www.maplin.co.uk/plantronics-.audio-628-usb-hd-headset-593947 Gaz |

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for a cheap set that would work for both Linux, Mac and PC. I thought perhaps we could sell it on the HamSphere site so that we know it works.
I will continue searching for the ultimate headset for HamSphere 73 Kelly 5B4AIT |

I'm using a Logitech (wired) USB headset I scrounged from my Rosetta Stone (spanish) language kit. I have been pretty happy with it - so I was considering picking up a wireless USB Logitech ClearChat headset - so I'm not tethered to the laptop when I'm working at the test bench or washing dishes. Anyone have experiance with this headset (good or bad)? | |
