Porting HamSphere to Nokia S60 3rd Edition OS

Hello again, I like HamSphere so much I want to see this on my Wireless capable Nokia N95 and equivelent N-Series Wifi capable Nokias, I dont know the Iphone world so well so maybe another developer would pick that side up.
There are some great Coders at www.sourceforge.net that would be able to "port" this source code over to Nokia 3rd S60 edition OS for free I'm sure of it! with Kellys permission of course, I'm sure it can be done and to be available as freeware would be fantastic, but having said that I would pay £10 for this small App straight away when you look at all the cool cheap phone apps for the Iphone and Nokia at the Nokia OVi Store. Phone Apps are much cheaper than full blown PC and Mac software so its still a viable option that will make /Portable Comms more easy to access with HamSphere. I could beam a Wifi G signal to my Nokia Phone up on the hill and operate Portable while playing with my Potable HF, and the portable Ham life style is the most fun I've had on Radio! Or I could be sitting in my favourite cafe in Brighton chatting to Pat in Florida, or my other friends along the coast. I hope this stimulates some interst! 73s all, M3XEM/P out. |
