HamSphere 4.0 Android

HamSphere 4.0 for Android will be ready for testing soon. We have developed a number of new plugins for the new system such as: VFO, Antenna Selector, BandScope/Waterfall, QSL Module, Rotator, Oscilloscope, etc. Here are some screen captures from the new app. The app is designed in 3 parts; Top, Mid-section and Bottom. The mid-section is swipeable and here is where you install your plug-ins. The Top and Bottom sections always stay fixed with a clear LCD display and a large PTT button.

If you want to become a beta tester for the Android phone, please send a request to the Support forum at http://www.hamsphere.com/support

Initially we planned to have this app ready before the end of the year, but we have had some complications with the new Mobile Shop so expect it to be ready Q1, 2017. Testing will commence ASAP.

DXpedition Reports and Special Event Stations (SES)

Due to other duties, Marcin Wieczerzyński 161HS363 has left as DXpedition Coordinator and we thank him for his long and faithful service. We now welcome Pat 14HS1 who will be managing the expedition requests. HamSphere DXpedition has a forum page where you can read more about DXpeditions and the requirements: http://www.hamsphere.com/list.php?34

HamSphere will not endorse, support or sponsor any other special activation call signs other than DX-Expeditions so please do not ask for special call signs for special events.

IMPORTANT! Make sure you plan your DX-Expeditions and have all "Special" call signs prepared and in working order BEFORE you head out. Please contact Pat 14HS1 to provide you with Special Activation call signs.

Our authorized "Expedition" call signs will be very specific. We are starting out with the IOTA (Trademark of RSGB) Island On The Air concept. We will call this IOHS = Islands on HamSphere. Later on we may extend these DX-Expeditions to cover Lighthouses, Castles or other exciting fixed landmarks.

Manager and Moderator for this forum is Pat 14HS1
