Hello all Hamsphere friends!

after having found Hamsphere appr. 2 years ago, some 40 years after i first gained interest in hamradio, I have finally done my homework and received my hamlicens :-) my new call sign from today will be SA0BYC :-)

Not only have I reached a personal goal in my ham career, but I have seen an incredibel development of Hamsphere at the same time. From less than 2000 users to more than 4000! I have meet so many interesting and nice friends during this time that it is incredibel! Should I make a list it would run from Stockholm/Sweden to somewhere mid Australia ...

Thanks Kelly for this fantastic thing called Hamsphere! Thanks for being a fantastic friend and Thanks for inspiring me to finally get my licens.

I'm very sure that many others as me will start here and then move on to get a ham licens. One thing for sure, I won't be leaving Hamsphere, you will have to live with this swedish admin for a long time to come ...

73 and all the best to everyone on Hamsphere

/ Johan

Hi all Hamsphere users!

I wrote two years ago in this presentation that I wouldn't leave HS, but today I have taken the decisison to do so when my subscription expires. It makes me sad, but lack of time doesn't permitt me to be active on HS very much. My radioactivities today are mainly on the shortwave bands. The time I have for radio, I spend on that other radio that some call real radio :) to me HS are and will always be just as real, but I have to choose and have choosen to leave the HS ionosphere.

I will always be very very gratefull to Hamsphere and Kelly and all of you wonderful people out there in the HS ionosphere. You brought back my interset in hamradio 4 years ago and made me get my ham license after being QRT for almost 35 years. I can't thank you enough! and I send a special greetings to you Kelly for making this happen and for a very special day some years ago when you came to visit my home in Sweden.

I will never forget HS and all my old friends here, I send a BIG Thank you to all of you, no one mentioned - no one forgotten, for 4 fantastic years on HS.

73 to all of you from; 21HS236/21HS100/SA0BYC and my last and final callsign on HS; SA3BYC

/Johan

Ps. I know it's maybe not very often someone says goodbye in their presentation :) but I just couldn't leave without sending this message to all my friends on HS. It's written with quite a sad felling, was a very difficult decision to decide to go, writing it brought back a lot of good ol memories ... Gonna miss you all!
