Greetings HamSphere operators,

Floyd here in Elk Plain, WA about 24km SE of Tacoma, WA. I have been a licensed Ham since 1984. I enjoy chasing DX and general rag chews. I'm always good for a QSL card and I have a variety of them, mostly from my own photography. I'm always willing to talk about getting your real license, my radios and antennas. Some of the countries that I contact I have actually been to so it is a special treat to talk to someone from those particular countries. Don't hesitate to give me a shout when you see me in the cluster.

In the real world I operate from home with a Yaesu FT450 and a double zepp antenna cut for 80 meters. My Butternut Butterfly beam antenna died this winter so I have to fix it when the weather gets warmer and dryer. I also operate mobile with an ICOM IC-7000 and whip antennas and portable with the same radio attached to a delta loop. When I'm backpacking I use an FT-817 QRP and a Buddistick vertical antenna.

On field day I operate with my radio group the 335 World Wide Amateur Radio Group under the call sign KF7CIA. You can find information on our group at www.wwarg.org I am one of the original founders of the group and currently the President. You can also find me on QRZ.com with my call sign NZ7B.

In the real world I use SSB, FM, CW & Digital HF. On Hamsphere I use DSB & CW, so far.

C U on the 'bands'.
