Good after noon all My name is David ans I am new to hamsphere but not new to ham radio. I am an ex;seafarer from the U/K and an ex; security guard. At the moment I volunteer with the Melbourne Port Welfare visiting sailors on the ships and keeping in touch with them as they sail around the world. My maine duty is to see that they are looked after when in port and if anything is wrong on the ship to assist were possible. I may be involved in assisting a seafarer to get home, or looking after him/her when they are in one of our hospitals sick and until they return to their home country. I am at the moment following a ship around the North Sea and is at present about to land at Plymouth in the U/k. If there are any stations on air from there could they call me over the next few days??
As soon as I get my SWR Metre and Tuner I will be using the ham radio I have bought. I look forward to talking with you all in the feuture. 73's David. David Scott |
