Hello everyone.

Listen out for some test transmissions on BC band 6.261 +/- to see if I can get some decent audio out of the box here.

Anyone else interested in BC? Heard some great stations on there but they seem to come and go/

How about a BC section here on the forum??

Great system.

I was thinking about broadcasting the Nascar Sprint Cup races.

Before you broadcast, even in Hamsphere, make sure that you have the permission of the copyright holder or hold a copyright license for the purpose of broadcasting.

For those in America, or who will be heard in America, the current activities for those organisations that collect fees on behalf of labels, artists, and writers have been aggressive and decisive. With case law, legislation - such as the DCMA - and the support of the record companies they have taken many small broadcasters (including internet broadcasters) to court, won the case and bankrupt those involved with some awards amounting to 250% of revenue earned by the broadcasters. This type of predatory enforcement of copyright has now extended into the UK, all of Europe, the middle east, Canada, Australasia and the Pacific Rim countries and is starting in the rest of the world. They are even targeting offices and cafes where broadcasts can be heard by employees or members of the public..

To broadcast any material, in any format, over any medium, from anywhere to anywhere requires copyright licensing. Failure to hold such licensing does lead to fines, cost, damages, and even jail time.

Don't take a risk as you don't know who is listening.

Not necessarily.

As a broadcaster, already paying the nasty fees, I will eventually be setting up a feed from my other stations onto the Hamsphere BC band.

I would invite anyone to submit ideas for shows and content that they have made themselves.

If you have anything please PM me.
