| Recently registered and still learning about Ham radio. I do not have a license so I'm hesitant about using the radio software. Always enjoyed listening to SW radio before the internet arrived. I'm an airline pilot and therefore have a radio license applicable to my work so I am aware of protocol and radio procedures. Hoping to know Ham procedures before transmitting but listening is a great way to learn. | |

Welcome to HamSphere, and I hope to hear you soon on Hamsphere, so we can exchange QSL cards and other information if you like. In the past, one of my hobbies was flightsimulation and I was member of a Flightsimclub Midden Nerderland. I was virtual airline pilot on the Embraer 145 , and Embraer 190. Richard, Welcome to Hamsphere, a super program to talk to people all over the world. Looking forward to working your country soon. Be glad to help you with any questions about Hamsphere. Was a flight engineer on Ch-37 Mojave helicopters with 90th Avaition Company in Germany in the mid 60's. Check out on Google...Ch-37 Mojave "Tired Dude" I named it and painted the name on and now it's in the Pima Air Museum, Tucson Az...good old times!
