Hi Mike,

I lived in Caldwell ID for five years before relocating to Oregon for work. I really miss Idaho. It rains here on the coast way too much (plus it's a nanny state). Last year I got my Ham Tech license then upgraded to General Class. Actually it's been about 18 months since I acquired my license, but have yet to go on the air. I'm renting here and it's not convenient to set up an antenna near the house. Also, I work so much, and have so many interests, it's hard to focus on this hobby. I may go portable to set up an antenna near the beach with an old tranceiver for 80, 40 and 20 meters. But of course I need a twelve V power supply and probably a Buddypole. What brings you to Hamshpere?
