Why can't I get Hamsphere to Launch???

I just downloaded and installed hamsphere on my Laptop which is a Dell Inspiron 5150, pentium 4 3ghz that connects to the internet via a wireless connection.After installing the software with no problems I click on the desktop icon and it won't launch.
SOLUTION: Download the latest version of JAVA |
