Happy New Year

I have added a Live Amateur Radio Audio Links on my webpage after being asked by local non-hams where they could listen to some nets.

The page has links to the 14.300 nets and the Skywarn EchoLink Conferences. These nets include INTERCON Emergency Net,Maritime Mobile Service Net,Pacific'Fares Net and the Hurricane Net.

Also includes EchoLink & IRLP worldwide links.( Via VoIP & RF interface)

These links may be of interest to those that may not have Shortwave receivers or enjoy listening to ham radio net traffic. click here

I took part in the 20 meter HF Maritime Moble Service Net "Santa Claus Net as a Net Conrol Station (NCS). The net allows children to talk to Santa. We had a lower then expected turn out due to poor propagation.

I am interested to know if the Hamsphere community would be interested in doing a similar net next year.

I plan on next year doing the net again from a childrens hospital. I could run the HF net my wife Sandy KJ4YZE, will use the Hamsphere program net with no worry of propagation. Sandy formerly 2HS417 has become a amateur radio operator now KJ4YZE due in part to Hamsphere.

For more information on the Santa Net, visit my Sata Net Page
If enough interest. I'll start planning for next year.
