I was wondering how many of the users have made QSL type cards to
send out to other people who they have talked to on Hamsphere. |

I think you will find most HS'ers exchange QSL cards. As an radio amateur , I QSL 100% for 1 st QSO.both on HF and Hamsphere.
I receive more return QSL cards via Hamsphere then HF side. QSLing goes with the hobby. If you need to make a QSL card, read my post on Homemade QSL cards. 73. Ray WX4PBC wx4pbc@yahoo.com |

I use to have an account with EQSL when I was a shortwave listener.
If I was to setup a new account what would I be classified if I use Hamsphere? Your not really a licensed amateur operator if you use Hamsphere but your not a shortwave listener either. |

In regards to making a QSL card, I have started making one
and have the following on it: picture I want to use, my call sign, and my address. What else do I need for a Hamsphere QSL???? I know what a normal HAM and SWL QSL card looks like but Hamsphere is different. |

You can have whatever information you want. That's the beauty of QSL cards. I personally use tourist post cards from a gift shop in my area. I hope this helps. | |

Jeremy is right. You can put whatever. I use Ham QSL format. For Mode Type,I put HS for Hamsphere.
In regards to printing, did you get your card to print right? Did you create / save card size as 5.5x3.5? If you did,it should print as that size. 73, Ray |

I hate to agree with Ray but he's right I have had more QSL's sent on this means than real radio 149 sent 4 reply's, sad very sad. QSL Card making/designing is upto the callsign of what he/she wants to show the world....because thats where it ends up. I collect QSL Cards (dating back to 1921) and I made mine in the idea hopefully someone (a contact) picks mine up and goes MMMM nice card, because thats what we all hope happens in the years to come. Anyway design it to show somone what attracts you ie the area you live in. On eQSL I have the lake 100m down the road at 0400 on a still morning with the reflections of the lights/moon ect. I also had some made in the USA of a old different design I send out as well if required. eQSL will let you design your own cards so you can import photo's ect to make up your card. Cheers Paul. I'll send you one I have by email |

For me a contact is a contact even when made via Hamsphere.
The use of new technology is part of our hobby and the exchange of a QSL card is proof of that contact, so yes I'm 100% QSL. |
