For those of you that are DX chasers or "paper chasers", Here is a link to a terrific page with all kinds of tools regarding Ham Radio.
By the way, for those who don't know, "Paper Chasing" is a term used by operators who are looking to get awards and/or certificates from a number of different places. Of course, using HS doesn't qualify actual Ham Radio contacts, but chasing different awards is fun. Try to earn your own "WAS", which is Worked All States. This is where you try to work at least one station in each of the United States. Another interesting achievement is to try to get the "WAC". This is Worked All Counties. There are 3,141 counties and county equivalents in the 50 States and the District of Columbia. Check out this page. It is loaded with a lot of interesting information. 73 Jerry - N1TKO |
